Refunds
Because our products are perishable, all sales are final. However, we want you to be delighted with your order. If something isn't right, please reach out within 24 hours of receiving your order so we can help.
We may offer refunds or partial credits in the following situations:
- You received the wrong item(s).
- Your order arrived severely damaged due to packaging issues we caused.
To initiate a concern or request a review:
- Email info@thebakingagent.com within 24 hours of delivery or pickup.
- Include your order number, clear photos (if applicable), and a description of the issue.
What is not eligible for refund:
- Missed deliveries or orders shipped to an incorrect address provided at checkout.
- Minor cosmetic imperfections (our products are handcrafted!).
- Orders not picked up during your scheduled pickup window.
- Cancellations within 7 days of pickup/delivery date (for pre-orders or large/custom orders).
- Delays caused by third-party carriers (once shipped, delivery times are out of our control).
- Fraudulent or unauthorized payment disputes (“services not rendered” claims after fulfillment will be contested with documentation).
Deposits for special orders:
- Orders over $100 or event/corporate orders require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your baking slot. These orders also require a signed agreement outlining payment terms, cancellations, and details.
- Balance is due 5 days before fulfillment date.
Refund timeline:
If your request is approved, refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.
We’re a small business baking with love. While we can’t guarantee perfection, we promise to treat every concern with fairness and care—and we deeply appreciate your support in helping us grow responsibly.
