How do your bake drops work?

We are excited to share that we will begin offering shipping direct to customers this Fall. In the meantime, we are focused on getting the word out and serving as many of our local friends as possible.
Once shipping is available, we will announce new bake drops every Wednesday, and you'll have until Friday at 12 PM EST to place your order. Orders will be shipped for delivery between Saturday and Monday from our shared commercial kitchen in Richmond, VA. Flavors rotate regularly based on seasonal inspo and customer favorites.
Until then, please sign up for our email list for updates on cookie and brownie drops and make any special request orders to info@thebakingagent.co.

Do you offer shipping?

Soon! We are transitioning to a commercial kitchen and anticipate access by this Fall. This will give us full capability to ship nationwide. 

Do you take special orders?

Yes! With at least 3 day's notice, we accept custom orders for:
Cookies - Orders of 6 or 12
Brownies - Orders of 6 or 12
Cupcakes - minimum order of 1 dozen
Our mini series (cupcakes, brownies, cookies) - minimum order of 2 dozen
For larger orders, please provide at least 5 day's notice. To place a special order, email info@thebakingagent.co.

How much do your treats cost?

Prices for weekly bake drops are as follows:
Cookies
1/2 Dozen (6): $24; 10% off for all orders of 2 or more 1/2 dozen packs
Brownies
4-Count: $16; 10% off for all orders of 2 or more 4-count packs

Prices for special orders are as follows:
Mini Cookies, Brownies, and Cupcakes 
 2 dozen (24) – $45
3 dozen (36) – $65
 4 dozen (48) – $80
Standard Cupcakes
1 dozen (12) - $42
 2 dozen (24) - $78
 3 dozen (36) - $108 
+$3 for 2 flavors and +$5 for 3 flavors on all special orders.

Do you offer gluten-free or dairy-free options?

We are exceptionally diligent about separating ingredients, bakeware, and appliances; however, we do not currently operate out of a dedicated gluten free and/or dairy free kitchen. We can accommodate via special order, and are currently expanding our menu items to include vegan and gluten-free options.

Do you have a storefront?

Not at the moment! But we occasionally pop up in local spaces and events around Richmond, VA. Follow us on Instagram @thebakingagent_or sign up for email updates to find us.

I'm in Richmond, VA. How do I pick up my order?

Currently, we offer no-contact pick up in North Chesterfield, VA. You’ll receive an email with pickup details, available time slots, and instructions once your order is confirmed. Visit our page for local order pick-up information.
In the near future, local orders will be available for pick-up from our commercial kitchen location. You’ll receive an email with pickup details, available time slots, and instructions once your order is confirmed. Delivery will be available for special request orders.

What’s your return or refund policy?

Please refer to our refund policy.

What payments do you accept?

We accept payments through our online shop from all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express (AMEX), and Discover. We also accept Apple Pay, and Google Pay. We process all online shop payments through Shopify. We invoice for all special orders. We process special order payments through Intuit.
For security, we confirm all large orders and retain records of correspondence, invoices, and fulfillment. We will never send payment back through third-party links or unverified methods.
